12 week intensive programming course aimed at preparing students to be junior level ruby on rails developers. The course is focused on preparing students on how to think like a programmer, how to produce high quality web applications, and how to work effectively in teams across the development stack. The course culminates in a team project to create an application that addresses a technology need and to showcase what students have learned over the 12 weeks.

The Iron Yard and SolTech partnered to host a weekend long hackathon. I worked in a team of 2 front-end developers, two iO mobile developers, and one other back-end developer to build an application in 48 hours. I built the routes, registration, and login functions for users. Also, I programmed the AWS configuration.
